Variety of round grain rice, with a pearly and crystalline appearance. It is the last variety accepted by the D.O. Valencia rice. A rice that combines qualities of the Sénia and Bomba varieties, being a rice that emulates the Sénia, allowing the absorption of flavors in an exquisite way and having the resistance to overcooking characteristic of Bomba rice. That is why the result is a tasty and loose rice, with a smooth and creamy texture. An ideal rice for paella, black rice, baked rice, in short for all kinds of Mediterranean rice.
