Orange wine made with the variety "sanguina", "sanguineli" or blood orange. There are different varieties of blood orange, whose main characteristic in common is its pulp of an intense red color. This color is caused by the presence of anthocyanins, a type of pigment that gives it different characteristics and properties to common oranges, lemons or grapefruits. It is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, folic acid or calcium, as well as having beta-carotenes, which help fight aging and provide it with anti-cancer and antioxidant properties.
"Tarongino sanguina" is made 100% with blood oranges from crops located in the town of Sagunto. It has a strawberry red color, provided by anthocyanins, presenting aromas with slight notes of berries and citrus. Already in the mouth it presents a characteristic acid attack of the variety that gives way to sweet notes of red fruits such as raspberry. It has an alcoholic grade of 7º.
It can be used in a wide variety of ways, both creating cocktails, taking it by the glass, as an aperitif or accompanying desserts. It must be served very cold, a temperature of 5ºC is recommended.
Bottling is done with minimal intervention to preserve its essence, which is why over time a natural sediment may appear, which indicates its artisan nature and integrity. It has a positive evolution in the bottle, keeping it horizontally in a cool, dry and dark place.
