La Casa de la Seda Red

Excellent award-winning red wine, both nationally and internationally, made from the Bobal variety from vines over 70 years old located in limestone-clay soils in plots in Requena. The intervention is minimized so that the full potential of the terroir is reflected. Once the malolactic fermentation has been carried out in stainless steel tanks, 80% is transferred to French oak casks, 10% to concrete eggs and the remaining 10% to clay vats, to age for 6 months prior to bottling.

TASTING

Of the intense garnet color typical of Bobal, aromas of forest fruits and aromatic herbs stand out, with spicy notes. Once in the mouth, the attack is dominated by ripe fruit. A fresh wine, with good acidity and a pleasant persistence, with silky tannins on a mineral base.

PAIRING

Excellent companion to red meats, barbecues, game meat, Iberian ham and cured cheeses.

TEMPERATURE

It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
