Excellent wine that is part of the assortment of wines from selected plots of Bodega los Frailes. It is the fruit of the combination of the young vines of Marselán variety, planted in shallow and stony soils at a height of 700m. Variety that gives it acidity and freshness power. And the Monastrell variety of vine stock over 65 years old planted in calcareous soils and with pebbles, which endows it with persistence and elegance. Harvested manually and worked separately in the cellar. After assembly, it is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.
It has an intense red color and aromas of ripe black fruit with mineral and balsamic hints. In the mouth an elegant and balanced sweet tannin predominates with notes of chocolate. Long and persistent finish with a pronounced acidity.
Ideal accompanying red meats, bushmeats, barbecues and roast lamb.
It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18ºC.
