Alicante nougat and miniature terronico nougat, two of the most typical nougats of our land.
Alicante nougat or "turrón duro" is composed of 60% lightly toasted almonds, to which is added 12% honey, a mix of sugar, wafer and egg white. It can be said that this is the flagship of Valencian nougat.
The turrón de terronico is achieved by adding sesame seeds to the traditional turrón de guirlache. This nougat is composed of 64% toasted almonds (from which the skin is not removed), 18% orange blossom honey, sugar, sesame seeds and wafer.
