The castle of Xàtiva gives its name to the double fortress located in the Sierra Vernisa, in the town of Xàtiva. A place full of history, of Iberian origin, Roman, Muslim and Christian used the fortress and added modifications. Christian used it with the creation of the Kingdom of Valencia after the reconquest of Jaume I.
