White wine of great personality made by Bodegas Murviedro from grapes from vines of more than 70 years of the Merseguera variety located on limestone-clayey soils. After a gentle crushing, it undergoes a carbonic maceration until it reaches 2º alcoholic levels, which is when it is lightly pressed and aged for two months on its lees in French oak vats.
Bright yellow in color with green hues and without being very aromatically intense, it has floral and stone fruit notes with balsamic and fennel reminiscences. As its name suggests (sericis means silky in Latin) it is silky but persistent on the palate, with a harmonious acidity and Mediterranean airs that reveal fruity notes in the aftertaste.
Perfect to take as an aperitif or to accompany salads, fish, seafood, rice or white meat.
To fully enjoy its particularities, it is recommended to serve between 6 and 8ºC.
